India re-elected as external auditor of WHO
New Delhi, May 18 (UNI) India has been re-elected as the external auditor of the World Health Organisation for a three-year term, at Geneva.
Mr V N Kaul, Comptroller and Auditor General of India received votes from 80 out of 124 countries present and voting. Other contenders were the Philipines and Indonesia.
The CAG of India is also the external auditor of the Food and Agricultural Organisation, International Maritime Organisation and the World Tourism Organisation, a CAG statement said.
