Haj Samiti welcomes Varanasi-Jedda flight service

Azamgarh, May 18 (UNI) Welcomming the decision of the Union government to start a Varanasi-Jeddah flight service, the All India Haj Seva today demanded establishment of a separate Haj house at Varanasi.

Samiti president Naushad Azmi told UNI that they were demanding Varanasi-Jeddah air service since long. ''Now, pilgrims from Gorakhpur, Mau, Allahabad, Kushinagar, Deoria, Sonebhadra, Ghazipur, Azamgarh and Chandauli will face less hardship,'' he added.

The samiti has also demanded setting up of a Haj house in Varanasi before Haj yatra starts for convenience of the pilgrims.
