Federal Bank Q4 net swings 95 pc

New Delhi, May 18 (UNI) Federal Bank Ltd has posted a whopping 95 per cent increase in its net profit at Rs 99.25 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 2007, as against Rs 50.73 crore during the corresponding period last year.

The bank's total income also rose 38.3 per cent to Rs 636.63 crore from Rs 460.04 crore during the said period, a statement issued by the bank said today.

For the year ended March 2007, the bank's net profit soard 30 per cent to Rs 292.73 crore from Rs 225.21 crore for the year ended March 31, 2006, while total income increased from Rs 1,653.48 crore to Rs 2,104.04 crore.
