British foreign office minister condemns bomb blast in Hyderabad
New Delhi, May 18 (UNI) British Foreign Office Minister, Kim Howells today strongly condemned the bomb blast at Hyderabad's Mecca mosque which killed five and injured many innocent people.
"I offer my sympathies to the relatives and friends of those killed and injured" Mr Howell said in a statement.
It was particularly abhorring that the incident took place at a time when people had gathered to offer prayers at an important religious centre.
"There can be no justification for such a cowardly act, nor for the bomb blast that injured innocent people in Guwahati in Asom - a town that I visited yesterday. The people of Hyderabad and Guwahati want peace and loathe these cowardly tactics", the British Minister said.
