Bihar experiences hot spell, hopes for drizzle tomorrow

Patna, May 18 (UNI) Several parts of Bihar might experience occasional drizzle and thunder showers during the next 24 hours even as the maximum temperature hovered around 36 degree Celsius today.

Local Met office sources said, despite an overcast sky during most parts of the day the people here experienced sweltering heat as maximum temperature stood at 35.7 degree Celsius and the minimum at 25 degree Celsius.

However, in Bhagalpur the situation was better, as the highest temperature in North Bihar was recorded at 33.8 degree Celsius and the minimum at 27.9 degree Celsius.

But people in Gaya had different experience and faced the brunt of unbearable heat with the mercury shooting upto 37.7 degree Celsius, though the minimum temperature was as comfortable as 24.5 degree Celsius.
