ATAI urges Centre to ensure more facilities for flights
Visakhapatnam, May 18 (UNI) The Air Travellers Association of India (ATAI) President D Varada Reddy today urged the State and Central Governments to ensure that the airport was opened early for round the clock flight operations.
Talking to UNI here, he said more facilities will be required for the international flight operations, night landing facility and in-flight calibration of the Instrument Landing System (ILS) in the Airport.
He said Silk Airways, a subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, was keen to commence Singapore-Visakhapatnam flight operations at the earliest as the city had lot of potential for tourism and business.
