Advani to kick off Party's campaign for Goa polls on May 21

New Delhi, May 18 (UNI) Senior BJP leader L K Advani will kickstart the party's campaign for the June 2 Goa assembly elections on May 21 with a call of "Goa Bachao", as party presses a number of leaders as star campaigners to oust Pratap Sinh Rane government from the state.

Mr Advani will be in the state for two days during which he would be addressing a number of public meetings, BJP spokesman Prakash Javadekar said.

While party President Rajnath Singh would conclude the campaign on May 29 and 30, former party President Venkaiah Naidu, senior BJP leader and former Union Minister Sushma Swaraj and former deputy Maharashtra chief minister Gopinath Munde would be among those paticipating in the party's campaign extensively, he said.

The party's manifesto, having the main plant of "Save Goa" by offering a corruption-free efficient government to the state, would be released by senior BJP leader Arun Jaitley on May 22.

Other issues which will be highlighted during the campaign are price rise and generation of more employment opportunities.
