Woman stabbed to death by soldier

Porbandar, May 17 (UNI) An Army jawan allegedly stabbed a woman to death at Kamlabagh here last evening, police today said.

According to police, Usha Sondarva (25) and her five-year-old son Arya were in Kamlabagh when the accused came there and stabbed the woman.

The jawan, identified as Vinod Raja, fled from the spot but later consumed poison. He was found in an unconscious state near Ranavav, the police said, adding he has been admitted to a hospital and his condition was stated to be serious.
