Trade worth Rs 2,777 crore transacted on NCDEX

Mumbai, May 17 (UNI) As many as 3,081 users of the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX) today participated in trades worth Rs 2,777 crore (one way) upto 1700 hrs.

There were more than 94,572 trades put through by them.

Active trades were high in pepper, jeera, guarseeds, chana, soya oil and Rape mustard seed, NCDEX release said.

Yesterday, 600 memebers had participated in trading and put through more than 91,005 trades. The trade volume for the whole day, till 2330 hrs, was Rs 2,874 crore (one way).

Active trades were high in among others guarseeds, pepper, jeera, gold, soya oil and chana, the release added.
