Three family members get life imprisonment

Patna, May 17 (UNI) A local sessions court today sentenced three members of a family to life imprisonment in a murder case.

Additional District and Sessions judge of Patna S P N Singh found Vishwanath Gope, a resident of Krishna colony of the state capital, guilty along with his son Binod Gope and son-in-law Tufani Rai for committing the murder of Anant Kumar Singh.

According to the charges, the deceased, a tenant of the convicts, was shot dead by the three following an altercation on May 27, 2002.
