Temperature again rises in Kashmir
Srinagar, May 17 (UNI) After pleasant weather yesterday, mercury again shot up by six degrees in the Kashmir valley today, forcing the people to stay indoors during the day.
Weather office here said the maximum temperature in the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir was recorded at 28.1 degrees Celsius while the minimum stood at 14.1 degrees Celsius.
Jammu continued to be hot today with maximum temperature recorded at 38.8 degrees Celsius and the minimum at 24.7 degrees Celsius.
The weather office has predicted rains and thudershowers at several places across the state.
