Shimla administration to provide space for selling vegetables

Shimla, May 17 (UNI) The Shimla administration will provide free space to local growers to sell their vegetables and fruits in various localities of the town on every Sunday, Deputy Commissioner Tarun Kapoor said here today.

He said vegetable and fruit grower would be provided this facility free of cost so that they could directly sell their products to the customers without middlemen.

The buyers would get fresh vegetables and fruits on cheap rates, he said.

These markets would start functioning from May 27 at Boileauganj, Sanjauli, BCS Chowk and Panchayat Bhawan near Bus Stand, he said.

The growers would have to pay Rs five only for maintaining cleanness, he added.
