Rs 8.48 lakh worth IMFL seized

Anand, May 17 (UNI) Anand rural police in a joint operation with the anti dacoity squad has seized Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) worth Rs 8.48 lakh from a truck here last evening.

Truck driver Thakkar Bishnoi and cleaner Kishanlal Bishnoi have been arrested.

The truck was coming from Daman and was on its way to Ahmedabad, police said.

The truck driver has told the police that he had no idea as to where the consignment was to be delivered as he was to receive further instructions at Nadiad.
