Patni computer systems announces new consulting service

Mumbai, May 17 (UNI) Global information technology service provider Patni Computer Systems announced today the formation of its consulting service practice within its manufacturing business unit.

Sanjiv Bhatia, a former managing director of Bearing Point, has been appointed vice-president of the newly formed consulting service practice.

Patni's consulting services capabilities will include supply chain, merger integration covering operational and IT due diligence, deal risk assessment, post-merger acquisition and post-transition consultancy.

The consultancy service will also provide technology advisory services, enterprise information management and value engineering, a press release stated.
