Patil says Haseena's property would be attached
Mumbai, May 17 (UNI) Maharashtra deputy chief minister R R Patil today indicated that the property of Haseena Parkar, sister of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim, would be attached if she did not surrender within a stipulated time.
However, Patil did not cite the specific period.
''Police are clueless about her whereabouts', said the home minister in a brief interaction with reporters here.
Haseena is accused of allegedly threatening two city-based builders for extortion.
Patil said the work of joint police commissioner Ms Meera Borvankar was good and, if required, her transfer would be decided later. A section of press had carried reports about her transfer today.
