One arrested for possesing one kg opium

Phagwara, May 17 (UNI) Police arrested a man here after recovering one Kg opium from his possession today.

The police team, headed by DSP HPS Khakh, seized the opium from Baljinder Singh of village Maralon under police station Nawanshahar at a check post near village Sahni this afternoon.
