Norms set for National Commission on sub-categorisation of SCs in AP

New Delhi, May 17 (UNI) The Chairperson of the National Commission set up to examine the sub-categorisation of scheduled castes in Andhra Pradesh will be from the retired Chief Justice of India, Chief Justice of a high court, retired judge of the Supreme Court or a retired judge of a high court.

He could also be any other person of eminence with understanding of the subject.

This was announced by Information and Broadcasting Minister Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi today after the Cabinet meeting which gave the approval in this regard.
