New software kits to help CAs

New Delhi, May 17 (UNI) To help solve auditing glitches faced by Chartered Accountants, a brand new software has been developed which claims to wipe out nearly 100 per cent of errors.

The Institute of Chartered Accontants of India (ICAI) today said the new auditing software 'toolkit' to be made available soon will help CAs follow best international practices.

The toolkit will be on the lines of the local software developed by ICAI Ahmedabad, ICAI President Sunil Talati said at a press meet on 'Path of Convergence with International Standards'.

The unrelenting lobbying on convergence of accounting standards the world over has seen many countries adopting the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
