Meghalaya: New ICAR DDG appointed
Shillong, May 17: Former Director of Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), North Eastern Region Research Complex, K M Bujarbaruah has recently taken over as Deputy Director General (Animal Science) of ICAR, New Delhi.
This was for the first time that a person from the NE would assume position in the world's largest agricultural research institute.
Dr Bujarbaruah had worked in different scientific positions in various ICAR's research centres in the region.
He had also been conferred with numerous awards in recognition of his outstanding contribution towards development of agriculture and allied sector in the Northeast.
