New Bajaj 100 cc bike to be manufactured at Aurangabad
Mumbai, May17 (UNI) The new Bajaj DTS tween-spark, two wheeler in 100 cc segment, will replace the 'Bajaj Platina' in Aurangabad soon.
BAL MD and CEO, Rajeev Bajaj, said on the sideline of the company's board meeting here today that ''The new platform of motor bike incorporated with new tech DTS tween spark engine, will be manufactured at the Aurangabad unit soon. As soon as the unit will be free from Platina series, the manufacturing of 50,000 units per month will take a start.'' The new series in 100 cc segment is supposed to be launched in the second quarter of the current fiscal. It will be the most fuel efficient and best performer bike in the 100 cc motor bike segement in the country. However, the new series would be 10 to 15 percent more costlier than the current avialable 100 cc bajaj bikes, added Mr Bajaj.
