Major fire in plastic godown

Mumbai, May 17 (UNI) A major fire broke out in a plastic godown near Aziz Masjid at Saki Naka in suburban Andheri today.

The fire, which broke out at 0740 hrs, was brought under control at 1112hrs, fire brigade sources said.

Twelve fire engines and eight tankers were pressed into service to battle the flames.

There were no casualties, sources said.

Meanwhile, investigations are on to ascertain the cause of fire, police said.
