Intuit wins best employer brand award

Kolkata, May 17 (UNI) Intuit Inc won the Recruiting Excellence Award for Best Employer Brand award, 2007, given by the Electronic Recruiting, a national community of talent acquisition professionals.

Intuit, the maker of Quicken, QuickBooks and TurboTax, is a leading provider of business and financial management solutions for small and mid-sized business, financial institutions, including banks and credit unions, consumers and accounting professionals.

The winners of the 2007 Recruiting Excellence Awards were announced at the ERE Expo in San Diego last month.

Intuit vice-president of talent acquisition Michael McNeal accepted the award on the behalf of the company.

The candidate generation team applied for the award and was notified in February that Intuit ranked among the top three finalists for Best Employer Brand, along with starbucks and Merck and Co.

" We started the journey a couple of years ago with the intention of creating an employer brand.And Intuit has succeeded in portraying itself as a company for the employees as well,'' said Intuit's employment brand and messaging Manager Melissa Pierce.
