GUVNL detects 56 cases of power theft in Surat

Vadodara, May 17 (UNI) A vigilance squad of the Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) has detected 56 cases of power theft, to the tune of Rs 14.41 lakh, at Surat circle recently.

GUVNL executive engineer (vigilance) R C Dhongra told UNI that the cases came to light two days back.
