Escorts inks pact with IHI, HUATA for marketing cranes

New Delhi, May 17 (UNI) Escorts Construction Equipment Ltd (ECEL), World's largest manufacturer of the pick-n-carry cranes today inked agreements with IHI Construction Machinery Ltd and Weihai Huata Building Machinery Co Ltd (HUATA) for marketing its crawler cranes and tower cranes in India.

Japan-based IHI is an eight billion dollar manufacturer of crawler cranes while HUATA, a Chinese company is the largest manufacturer of tower cranes.

ECEL, a subsidiary of Escorts is a manufacturer of road construction equipments and products like pick-n-carry cranes, slew cranes, loaders, vibratory soil compactors and tandem vibratory rollers.
