Domestic TravInsure for SpiceJet passengers

New Delhi, May 17 (UNI) Air passengers travelling on SpiceJet can now look forward to a specially designed insurance programme from Tata AIG General Insurance Company Limited.

The existing domestic travel insurance products are fundamentally accident and death cover products that are sold across airport counters and are valid only during the duration of the flight.

However, Domestic TravInsure is designed keeping in mind the specific needs and exigencies of domestic passengers, not just from the perspective of an accident cover but also in terms of alleviating the inconveniences experienced during travel.

The validity of this policy is 30 days from the time the passengers takes the flight and covers travel by all modes of transportation during this period.

The policy offers an array of insurance covers for SpiceJet passengers including round the clock accidental death and dismemberment, emergency accidental medical reimbursement, emergency medical evacuation and repatriation of the remains, 24 hours emergency assistance service, trip cancellation, baggage loss, flight delays and trip interruption.
