DHD factions exchange fire in NC Hills

Diphu, May 17 (UNI) Suspected rebels of the DHD (Jewel Garlosa) attacked a designated camp of the DHD (Dilip Nunisa) in NC Hills district today.

Official sources said the DHD (J) rebels opened indiscriminate firing at the Deongra designated camp of the DHD (Nunisa group) in the wee hours, prompting the latter to retaliate.

The encounter lasted for nearly two hours.

However, no casualties have been reported from either side.
