BSP to repeat UP formula in MP, says leader
Satna(MP), May 17: The Bahujan Samaj Party, which romped home in the recent Uttar Pradesh Assembly election on the strength of upper caste-lower caste pact, is considering to repeat the same strategy in the coming elections in Madhya Pradesh, says the party's state General Secretary Gendalal Bhai.
The party is planning to organise a big programme to galvanize the upper caste-lower caste pact, but its venue and date are yet to be finalised, he told sources.
The BSP leader said the party stood in second position in 72 constituencies in the previous Assembly election in Madhya Pradesh when upper caste candidates were also fielded.
Mr Gendalal said the BSP would attempt to get a respectable position in the next Assembly and Lok Sabha elections in Madhya Pradesh by forging the upper caste-Dalit pact.
