Aslam wants Jyotiraditya to head MPCC

Betul, MP, May 17 (UNI) Former Union Minister Aslam Sher Khan feels that a young leader such as Guna MP Jyotiraditya Scindia could enhance the Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee's morale by heading it.

''The Congress was not weakened by the defeat in this state's assembly and general elections but morale was lowered,'' he told mediapersons yesterday.

Former Olympian Khan, who returned to Congress fold after a stint in the NCP, was here to attend a wedding.
