AICCTU demands immediate action against industrialists

Puducherry, May 17 (UNI) The All India Central Council of Trade Unions (AICCTU) today demanded immediate action against the industrialists who were not properly implemeting the Provident Fund scheme in their industrial units.

In a statement here, AICCTU President S Balasubramanian said several industrial units were misappropriating the funds meant for the PF, while some others were not at all implementing the scheme.

He said the AICCTU would organise a demonstration infront of the Regional Provident Fund Office here tomorrow to press for the arrest of the industrilists who failed to implement the PF scheme.
