UPSC aspirant moves HC for mark sheet
New Delhi, May 16 (UNI) IAS aspirant Ram Chandra Verma moved the Delhi High Court today to get the Union Public Services Commission (UPSC) to release his marks.
Appearing for the Civil Services Examination in 2006, Verma wrote the Mains paper in the same year. He was not among the list of successful candidates selected by the UPSC on March 14 this year.
His repeated attempts to persuade the UPSC to release his marks fell on deaf ears. All he was told was that he had failed to obtain the qualifying marks in compulsory papers of Hindi and English.
The petitioner's lawyer argued that the UPSC is refusal was violative of the earlier order given by the Delhi High Court on April 17 this year.
Citing the order, he further added that the Court had directed the UPSC to furnish the marks obtained by the candidates.
