New Delhi, May 16 (UNI) The UPA would work to find a consensus Presidential candidate but in case of a contest it would primarily be between a ''secular and a non-secular one'', Parliamentary Affairs Minister Priyaranjan Dasmunsi said today.

He said the Congress has not yet decided on any name for the next incumbent in the Rashtrapati Bhavan and the party would not like to comment on any name doing the rounds.

Once the party reached a decision on the issue, the UPA allies would be consulted and the Left parties taken into confidence. Talks will also be held with the opposition after that, Mr Dasmunsi said.

However, the process would not start before the first week of June, he informed and said informal talks may be held at various levels.

Regarding the possibility of Parliament session being adjourned sine die before its scheduled date on May 22, he said there was a lot of legislative business pending so the government would prefer that the session continue till its normal schedule.

''However, sine die is always abrupt, so it cannot be decided before hand,'' he added.
