Tribal family forced to work as bonded labourer

Harda, MP, May 16 (UNI) Police have registered a case against two people for allegedly forcing a tribal family to work as bonded labourers for the past 22 years.

Soma Korku (65), who worked as labourer at Dhangaon village, had lodged a police complaint that his family was being forced to work as bonded labourers for Banwari Lal and Ramchandra.

Soma's family includes his wife Jimu Bai, two sons Mangilal and Kaliram, their wives Rajni and Meera and their children Jeevan and Ramjeevan.

Soma alleged that about 22 years back, he had borrowed money from Banwari and Ramchandra, who were since then making his family work as bonded labourers.
