Three women and a girl rescued from brothel in Pune

Barasat, May 16 (UNI) Police today said they have rescued a minor and three women from a brothel in Pune last night.

The victims were trafficked from here to Pune about seven months back, police here said.

Acting on a tip-off, a five-member police team rushed to Pune for the rescue of the victims last week following arrest of some women traffickers.

The victims belonged to Dum Dum, Baguiati and Barasat area of North 24 Parganas, police said.

The victims would be produced before the court here for further action, police added.
