Six Reliancefresh stores opened in Indore

Indore, May 16 (UNI) Amidst reports of sporadic protests by local vegetable and fruit retailers, Mukesh Ambani-controlled Reliance Retail today opened six Reliancefresh stores here.

Heavy police presence was made outside the stores in view of threats by retail vegetable vendors.

The retail vendors, who reached at various stores including the one at Vijaynagar, however stopped due to the presence of police.

Fruit, vegetables and milk products will be available at the stores.

A day before, Malwa Mill Vegetables and Fruit Retailers Union staged a protest demonstration in the Malwa Mill area and burnt an effigy of Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani.
