Raichur records highest temperature 42.7 degree celsius

Bangalore, May 16 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the weather office at 0830 hours today.

Dry weather prevailed over the State. Maximum temperatures changed little over the State. They were above normal at many places being appreciably so at a few places over Coastal Karnataka; above normal at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and remained normal over North Interior Karnataka.

Raichur recorded highest maximum temperature of 42.7 degree Celsius over the State.

Forecast valid until Friday morning: Mainly dry weather may prevail over the State.

Farmers Weather Bulletin: Mainly dry weather may prevail over all the districts of the State.

Forecast for Bangalore: Partly cloudy. Maximum temperature would be around 35 degree celsius.
