New Delhi, May 16 (UNI) TDP members today disrupted the Question Hour in the Lok Sabha, trying to raise the Godavari issue again.

As soon as the House met in the morning, TDP members, led by their leader Yerrannaidu, were on their feet, waving reports on the construction of Babli dam on the Godavari that had created an acute water shortage in Andhra Pradesh.

When Speaker Somnath Chatterjee disallowed the suspension of the Question Hour to discuss the issue, saying he had not received any notice on it, some TDP members, including Mr M Jagannath, trooped into the well.

''I have allowed you to speak on that day. Today, I have not received any notice. You stand on your feet, and some of you come into the well. This is a mockery of the House,'' Mr Chatterjee said and added that nothing would go on record.

The Question Hour began five minutes late after TDP members resumed their seats.

During the end of the Question Hour, Akali Dal members trooped into the well, trying to raise the Dera Sacha Sauda issue.

They even trooped into the well, flourishing newspaper reports on it, but returned to their seats immediately when the Speaker did not allow them to speak.
