NPCC constitutes Election Manifesto Committee

Kohima, May 16 (UNI) As part of the preparations by the Congress party for the next Assembly Elections in Nagaland, the Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee(NPCC) has constituted a six-member Election Manifesto Committee.

NPCC President Hokheto Sumi today stated that the EMC, led by NPCC Vice President Khriedi Theunuo, would comprise MLAs Chingwang Konyak and Takamasa, former Speaker of Nagaland Assembly Z Lohe, former Chief Minister K L Chishi and former Minister Neiba Ndang.

Mr Sumi added that the EMC would take the views and opinions of senior Congress leaders for preparing the Manifesto and its draft would be completed by June.
