Notice to IP Extension police station SHO, DCP
New Delhi, May 16 (UNI) A city court today issued notice to SHO of IP Extension police Station and DCP Headquarters for not appearing in the court regarding a case where Delhi Police had failed to file an FIR on a complaint.
Metropolitan Magistrate P Parmachala asked the DCP and the SHO to be present in the court on May 31 and explain the stand of the police on not registering the FIR despite a Supreme Court directive and Delhi Police guidelines on the same.
Complainant P P Chaturvedi claimed that he had been kidnapped from Gonda, Uttar Pradesh and then thrown out of a moving car outside WHO headquarters on March 30.
He claimed that the IP Extension SHO had turned him away and even Joint Commissioner (North) had not registered the FIR.
