NATCO pharma launches Glatimer drug
Hyderabad, May 16 (UNI) NATCO Pharma Limited today fortified its presence in the Neurology segment with the launch of Glatimer, used in the treatment of multiple Sclerosis by helping to reduce the frequency of relapse.
According to a release here, Natco had become the first generic producer of this drug in the world. The drug was introduced for the first time in India.
Glatimer would be a peptic chemistry-based product, the first one from among a series planned to be introduced by Natco.
The drug was launched at a MRP of Rs 28,500 for 30 vials. This was about 40 per cent of the price, at which the innovator's brand was available, the release added.
