Motorola launches 'Motostore'
Chennai, May 16: Motorola, global leader in wireless communication, today launched "Motostore," a one stop shop for purchase of motorola mobile products with after sales service.
The franchisee store, tenth in India and first in Tamil Nadu, was inaugurated by Motorola Mobile Devices Director Sales, India, Nepal and Sri Lanka Sudhir Agarwal.
Later talking to reporters, he said the company would expand its store in various parts of the State, including in tier-II cities like Madurai, Coimbatore, Marthandam, Tirunelveli, Salem and Erode.
''The response for setting up such stores has been very encouraging and our people are evaluating the locations,'' he added.
He ruled out motorola opening up its own exclusive store in India.
''Fun is the core element of the store, which will offer users an opportunity to personalise their phones using customised phone tattoos and blue tooth photo-imaging, as well as downloading of wallpapers and ringtones and on-site factory authorised technicians to aid with service,'' he said.
A team of in-store Motorola experts would be present in the store to help customers understand the latest technology and get the best solution for their needs.
To a question, Mr Agarwal refused to quantify the investments gone into the new store, saying it depended on various factors, including real estate prices.
