Mechanic sustains burn injuries in AC cylinder explosion

Akola, May 16 (UNI) A 30-year-old mechanic sustained burn injuries after he caught fire while repairing an air conditioner at Khamgoan town, in the bordering Buldhana district.

Kazi Irshad Ali, a resident of Ganganagar, and Noor Mohd, a resident of Muzzafur Nagar of Akola, were working on the AC last evening, when one of the cylinders exploded, in which Kazi caught fire. Fearing for his life, he jumped out from the third floor of a local hospital, sustaining severe burn injuries and a fractured leg, hospital sources said.
