Mayawati sends UP team to Delhi for resolving bus issue

Lucknow, May 16 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati has initiated a move to resolve the months long dispute between the UP and Delhi roadways over plying of buses.

The newly-elected CM has sent a Transport department senior official for talks with the Delhi government, sources said here.

''The daily passengers are facing great difficulties on Delhi-UP borders, following dispute over plying of buses. Besides, the service class people in Delhi and Ghaziabad, traders, students and comman man have to waste their time and money due to lack of adequate public transport,'' Ms Mayawati observed.

The CM stressed that the matter should be resolved as early as possible as the dispute is also resulting in loss of revenue.
