HCL, SNIA join hands on storage networking

Chennai, May 16 (UNI) HCL Technologies and Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA) India today announced they have joined forces to promote awareness on storage networking technologies for end-users and professionals.

This joint initiative was aimed at building a talent pool of trained storage professionals, a company release here said.

According to industry estimates available, about one million new storage professionals will be required globally by 2012.

In the recent past, storage has become a rapidly growing practice touching 65 billion US Dollar mark globally in terms of total value.

SNIA India and HCL Technologies will hold a series of tutorials here for the benefit of end users from May 19 to June 30 this year.

All end users of storage products and technologies would find the programme useful for enhancing their skills and domain expertise.

They will be trained thoroughly on specific storage technologies by industry veterans who possess exhaustive experience and extensive knowledge on global storage best practices.
