Cyclone alert in Manipur
Imphal, May 16 (UNI) The state government today warned of a cyclone and appealed to the people to remain alert.
''There may be a cyclone today and tomorrow,'' official sources said. However, there was no rainfall and the sky remained clear.
All rivers, including the Imphal, Nambul and Iril rivers were flowing at a high level. However, none had reached the danger level, the sources said.
The minimum temperature was 20.4 degree celcius while the maximum temperature was recorded at 29 degree celcius. The humidity was 80 per cent.
