Hyderabad, May 16 (UNI) A city court today reserved orders for tomorrow on the police petition, seeking custody of Telangana Rashtra Samithi MLA S Bapu Rao, one of the accused in the human trafficking case.

The 12th Additional Metropolitan Magistrate completed hearing on the petition this afternoon.

The TRS MLA had surrendered before the police on May 10 after the Central Crime Station (CCS) registered a case against him on May 3.

The alleged kingpin in the scam, Rasheed, also surrendered on the same day. Mr Rao was now in judicial custody at the Chenchalguda jail.

The TRS MLA, representing a ST reserved Assembly constituency, had allegedly accepted money from Rasheed to obtain fake passports in the name of his wife and three children to send others abroad.
