CBI investigating into NH-1 maintenance package contract

New Delhi, May 16 (UNI) The Government today informed the Lok Sabha that the CBI has conducted raids on the premises of some National Highway Authority of India officers in connection with irregularities in the maintenance contract package for a stretch of 66 Km to 95 Km on NH-1 for 2004-05.

Minister of State for Shipping, Road Transport and Highways K H Muniyappa, in a written reply, said the government had not yet received the details from the CBI.
