BSP MLA threatens a property agent

Lucknow, May 16 (UNI) Supporters of newly-elected BSP legislator Neeraj Kushwaha today created ruckus in the office of a property agent of Ansals and allegedly threatened him with dire consequences.

The capital police sprang into action immeditely after the complaint was received this afternoon as the name of the ruling party MLA from Jalalabad came up in the issue.

All the senior police officials ,however,evaded direct reply about the queries in this regard saying ''matter is under investigation.'' Inspector General of Police (Lucknow Zone) Arvind Kumar Jain said the matter had come to his notice and the senior officials had been sent to the spot to probe it.

The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of Lucknow B P Jogdand told UNI that the police had not registered the FIR as the complaint looked sketchy and devoid of sustainable facts.

He said a minor property dispute looked to be the cause behind the complaint and police was investigating it thoroughly.
