Bomb recovered, seven militants nabbed
Imphal, May 16 (UNI) Police recovered a bomb and navved seven hardcore militants in separate incidents during the past 24 hours.
Police today said unknown persons lobbed a hand grenade at the residence of a senior engineer of Public Works department here which however did not blast. Police later removed it.
Imphal West Superintendent of Police Clay Khongsai said a cadre of People's United Liberation Front (PULF) was arrested .
Later two Naga militants were nabbed by a combined team of police commandos and troops at Imphal.
In another incident police nabbed a cadre of People's Liberation Army who was allegedly involved in collecting money.
Meanwhile, troops apprehended two kanglei Yawol Kanna Lup (KYKL) and a Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP) cadres.
