Balaji Telefilms Q4 net up 37.2 pc

New Delhi, May 16 (UNI) Balaji Telefilms Ltd today posted 37.2 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 21.27 crore for the fourth quarter ended March, 2007 as against Rs 15.50 crore during the corresponding period last year.

The company's total income rose by a mimimal 3.7 per cent to Rs 81.09 crore from Rs 78.14 crore during the said period.

For the year ended March 31, 2007, the company's net profit stood at Rs 79.72 crore in comparison to to Rs 59.64 crore for the year ended March 31, 2006.

Its total income also increased from Rs 289.06 crore to Rs 326.87 crore during the period, a statement said.
