Auto parking management system at Shamshabad
Hyderabad, May 16 (UNI) In line with its commitment to bring world-class airport services here, the New Hyderabad International Airport in Shamshabad has set in motion the process of setting up an Automated Parking Management System in the airport premises.
The Parking Management System would be managed by Tenaga Parking (India) Private Ltd a part of the Malaysia-based Tenaga Group.
Currently, Tenaga Group manages parking facilities in prestigious projects across Malaysia, Sri Lanka, and India, according to a release here today.
Tenaga Parking (India) had bagged the contract pipping many global companies from Australia, South Africa, Malaysia and India to the post. It would take care of the parking management in the new airport for a period of three years, which could be extended further on mutual agreement.
The main objectives of the Parking Management Systems was to provide quality parking service and facility to customers, facilitate quick entry and exit from the parking points and reduce dwell time, streamline the entire traffic movement around the car parking area and build MIS systems to support future planning and development.
The special features of the parking management in the new airport were automated service which facilitated 'No Queuing and No Waiting' by introducing the 'Touch&Go' concept, traffic management of the car parking area for customers and other services in front of terminal building comprising over 3,500 car bays.
Traffic management of the parking area in front of Cargo terminal building comprises around 153 two-wheeler, 125 car, 30 truck parking and dock parking bays, the release added.
